Eileen Anderson

Eileen Anderson, lifelong Antigo resident, died at her home on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was 80 years old.She was born Dec. 17, 1930 in Antigo, daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Belsky) Anderson. She was a graduate of Antigo High School, and worked for the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory from 1949 until 1995. Ms. Anderson was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, and enjoyed involvement in church functions such as the holiday bazaar. She also sang in the church choir. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews. She was talented at making doll clothes for the girls, and would even make doll furniture. She loved her cats, and was a supporter of the Langlade County Humane Society.She is survived by her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Norma and Ruth Anderson, 2 brothers, Kenneth and Vernon, and a nephew Bruce.A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thurs. at Faith United Church of Christ, with Rev. Kathryn Rust officiating.
