Ervin Frederick Pranke of White Lake passed away on March 28, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital at the age of 84. Ervin was born on November 1, 1937 in Shawano to the late John and Clara (Lechterman) Pranke. On June 6, 1959, Ervin was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Betsy” Messer at Four Corners Assembly of God. She survives. Ervin served for the 32nd division of the Wisconsin National Guard for 13 years. He was a jack of all trades, working a multitude of different jobs, from driving truck, to milking cows, to working on the railroad. Ervin enjoyed spending lots of time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially to Indiana and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He also had a fascination for lighthouses. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Ervin is survived by daughters; Ruth Pranke of White Lake, Beth Pranke of White Lake, and Donna Pranke of Madison, sons; Tim (Brenda) Pranke of White Lake, Phil (Tammie) Pranke of Two Rivers, Daniel (Michelle) Pranke of Weston, Anton (Maria) Pranke of Antigo, and Jonathon (Shelly) Pranke of Elton, 21 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. In accordance with his wishes, private services will be held.
