Ervin O. Hohensee

Ervin O. Hohensee, of Aniwa, died Mon., Dec. 8, 2008 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Antigo. He was 86 years old.He was born Dec. 23, 1921, the son of the late Frank and Clara (Hetzel) Hohensee. He married Rosalie Hulman on April 5, 1947 in Aniwa, WI. Rosalie preceded Ervin in death on May 17, 2008. Mr. Hohensee graduated from Antigo High School, and worked in Milwaukee at Perlick Corp. He lived in Milwaukee until 1996, when he returned to Aniwa. He enjoyed hunting and outdoor activities. He served in the US Air Force from in World War II from 1940 – 1945.Survivors include 2 daughters, Carole (Denny) Baltus of Elgin, IL, and Shirlee (John) Scherer of Bryant; 2 sons, Gary (Jill) Hohensee of Aniwa, and Randy (Kathy) Hohensee of Antigo; 3 brothers, Edwin Hohensee of Antigo, Milton (Rita) Hohensee of Milwaukee, and Gil (Gloria) Hohensee of Aniwa; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Bette Simpson; a son, Terry Hohensee; and 2 great grandchildren.
