Eunice A Flak

Eunice A. Flak left us on July 22, 2011. She was born on Aug. 7, 1921, daughter of the late Henry and Della (Borneman) Narlow. On Aug. 30, 1947, Eunice married the late Tony Flak of Polar, WI, where they made their life together. She worked at Eastview Medical Center part-time for 10 years and then became a full-time homemaker. Eunice and Tony had one son Gary (Mary) of Sherwood, WI; a granddaughter, April Flak of San Diego, CA, and a great-granddaughter, Madison Flak Rubio, also of San Diego, CA. Eunice is further survived by a sister, Shirley Briones of Westchester, IL; a sister-in-law, Marie Narlow of Napa, CA, many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews; and special friends, Adeline Kryzanek, Bernice Andraschko, Kathy Hoffman, and Kurt and Phyllis Klement. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leeland Narlow and Kenneth Narlow; a sister, Arletta Kudrna, sister-in-law, June Narlow; a brother-in-law Irvin Kudrna; and all of Tony's brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Joseph Flak, Rudy Flak, Lucy Radovich, Louis and Mary Flak, Augusta and Emil Spaak, Bill and Ann Youst, Stanley and Nellie Flak, Walter and Esther Flak, Faye and Mary Drake. A funeral will take place at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Nancy Richmond. Visitation will be 4-7 Sunday at the funeral home. A private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to Wanda Hose and all of the Eastview Medical staff for their care and support. Eunice lived a very full and happy life. She brought joy, wisdom, humor and friendship to many and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
