Evelyn L. Mccabe

Evelyn L. McCabe, age 81, if Merrillville, IN and formerly of Calumet Township died Friday, November 6, 2009.Mrs. McCabe was born July 23, 1928 in Lockport, IL to the late George and Lottie Karsten. Mrs. McCabe was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and a former employee of K&H News and Robert Hall Company.She married Harold "Bud" McCabe and he survives, residing in Indiana. Evelyn is further survived by 4 children; Bill (Donna) McCabe of Crown Point, IN., Lori (Cleatus) Roy of Illinois, Lisa McCabe of Hobart, IN., and Layne Fulford of Liginier, IN.; 7 grandchildren; Melissa (Nick) Wychocki, Jaclyn and Michael McCabe, Brandon and Matthew Szarmach, James McCabe and Kenton Fulford.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Reverend Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and Monday from 9:30 AM until the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Elcho cemetery.
