Floyd A. Galarowicz

Floyd A. Galarowicz, of Antigo, died Sun. June 20 at Langlade Hospital. He was 93 years old.He was born Aug. 23, 1916, son of the late Joseph and Ann (Maniecki) Galarowicz. He married Ruby Brown in 1939 and she preceded him in death. He married Evelyn McGuire on June 1, 1968 in Antigo. She survives. Mr. Galarowicz lived in Antigo, and worked as a plumber, pipefitter, and carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, trapping, and playing cards. He loved working on his yard, and especially took great pride in decorating for Christmas.Survivors, in addition to his wife, include 2 sons, Jerry (Ora) Galarowicz of Antigo, and Jim (Judy) Galarowicz of Antigo; 4 step-daughters, Diane (Roger) Wagnes of Antigo, Barb Wick of Great Falls, MT, Kathy (Jerry) Carter of Antigo, Sharon (Gary) Krugel of Antigo; 2 step-sons, Jerry (Shirley Wick) Bula of Antigo, and Dennis (Debbie) Bula of Antigo; a brother, Donald Galarowicz of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister-in-law, Anastacia Galarowicz of Madison; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Aloysius, John, and Howard; 3 sisters, Cecilia Pesl, Lucille Parks, and Joan Adamski; and a great-grandson, Phillip.
