Floyd Edwin Arrowood of Mountain, Wisconsin fought a long brave battle with cancer that ended at home on November 14, 2014 under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 71 years old. He was born on February 21, 1943 in Antigo, Wisconsin to the late Nathan and Grace (DeBord) Arrowood. He married Suzanne Ahlers on June 8, 1968 at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives. He was a Journeyman Structural Iron Worker and proud union member of the International Association of Iron Workers for 47 years. Those closest to him will always remember his strong work ethic. He could fix just about anything and prided himself on keeping things in good repair. Known as "Tweet" to family and friends, he was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time in "the Sherry". Other interests included ATVs, Harleys, horseshoes, the Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Arrowood of Wausau and Carrie (Scott) Hansen of Waukesha, and one son, Bart Arrowood of Hales Corners. He leaves behind 4 grandsons, Colton, Cade, Ryder, and Miles. He is also survived by one sister, Ella (Roger) Brown; sisters-in-law Rita Arrowood and Lisa Ahlers; and two brothers-in-law Tom (Karen) Ahlers and Kelly (Lanora) Ahlers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Hutchinson and Shirley Schneck, and two brothers, Gary Arrowood and Harvey Arrowood. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the service begins at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to LeRoyer Hospice.
