Frederick H. Boness, Sr.

Frederick H. Boness, Sr. of White Lake, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 83 years old. He was born May 17, 1928, son of the late Herman and Henrietta (Meyer) Boness. He married Jeanette Graf, and they divorced. He later married Pearl Robinson, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 2007. Mr. Boness was a graduate of Neenah High School, and was employed at Akrosil Paper until his retirement. He served in the National Guard. Survivors include 7 children, Frederick H. (Karen) Boness, Jr. of Anchorage, AK, Daryl (Leslie) Boness of Hartford, ME, Debbie (Scott) Sager of Black Creek, Evelyn (Dennis) Osterling of Waupaca, Kathy (Michael) Fay of Menasha, Daniel (Barbara) Boness of Kaukauna, and Melanie (Todd) Wilcox of Waupaca; a sister, Helen Cook of Menasha; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Sager. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10-11 Tues. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Langlade Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Fred's name may be directed to the charity of your choice.
