Genevieve Christensen

Genevieve Christensen, died Tues. Feb. 15 at Rosewood Nursing Home in Rockford, IL at the age of 91. She was a former resident of Rolling Stone Lake and Skokie, IL.She was born Nov. 11, 1919, daughter of the late Frank and Genevieve (Underhill) Kasper. She married William Christensen on June 27, 1942. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1995. Mrs. Christensen was a homemaker.Survivors include 4 children, Nancy Conry of Loves Park, IL, Billy (Lainie) Christensen of Marysville, MT, Jim Christensen of Franklin Park, IL and Charlie (Ann) Christensen of Aitkin, MN; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Joan.A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Sat. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Newberry officiating. Visitation will be 9:30-10 Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Pearson Cemetery.
