Gerald "Joe" Robert Peschke

Gerald "Joe" Robert Peschke, of Antigo, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was 79 years old. He was born April 15, 1936 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Bernard and Esther (Kasper) Peschke. He married Bonnie Peschke on January 19, 1966. They later divorced, but remained a couple for nearly 50 years. Joe graduated from McHenry High School in 1953. He was in the US Army, and served in the Korean War. He worked as a general contractor, and resided in Spring Grove, IL prior to moving to White Lake in 1976, where he continued contracting. In the late 1980's, he began employment at Amron until retirement. He loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved camping with family and friends. Survivors, in addition to Bonnie Peschke, include 2 daughters, Linde Misurelli of Harvard, IL, and Tina (Mike) Jones of Big Water, UT; 3 sons, Robert Peschke of Poplar Grove, IL, Jerry (Kendra) Peschke of Antigo, and Michael (Chris Grant) Peschke of Antigo; a sister, Ann Hogan of Mountain; 2 brothers, Bernard (Elaine) Peschke of White Lake, and Alan (Sandy) Peschke of Peterborough, NH; 8 grandchildren, Keshia Reissmann, Josh Peschke, Devyn Peschke, Ryan Jones, Kamri Grant, Sawyer Grant, Ashton Peschke, and Danika Peschke; a close brother-in-law, Dave Doody; and nephew David Doody and Isabella Espino; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randy Peschke. In following with Joe's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of Joe's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Three Jokers, and the celebration will continue at Never Enough.
