Geri Coppenbarger, 79, of the Town of Wolf River, died Sunday at her home under the care of her family.Geri was born November 26, 1930 to the late Samuel and Rosa Mae (Buckner) Rickett in White Lake, WI. On February 21, 1958 she married Philip R. Coppenbarger in Zion, IL. Mr. Coppenbarger preceded her in death on October 15, 1986.Geri was a homemaker. She worked as a receptionist at Beloit College at Chapin Hall. She was also a collector and proprietor of the shop "Gifts by Geri and Friends" in White Lake. Geri also served as vice president of the Midwest Drug Prevention Program for 3 years. She loved gardening, flowers and animals. She was an avid Chicago Bear fan. Geri is survived by a son Charles Daniel (Helen) Henderson of Kenosha, WI, a grandson, Philip Jason Henderson of Largo FL, a great grandson, Christopher Bowen, a sister Lillian Mabry of White Lake, and many loving nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Geri was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Allen.Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Four Corners Assembly of God Church in White Lake. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the church. Rev. Marvin Kindle will officiate. Interment will be in the Langlade Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Geri's name. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
