Gertrude Hiller died Sun. March 22, at her home in Green Bay, under the care of Unity Hospice and her family. She was 90 years old.She was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Adelaide, Australia, the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel Robina (Leak) Sutton. She met Matthew "Mickey" Hiller while he served in the US Army, and they married Jan. 2, 1945, in Adelaide, Australia. Mr. Hiller preceded her in death. After marriage, she and Mickey moved to Antigo, and was a longtime resident of the area. In recent years, she moved to Green Bay to be near her children. Ms. Hiller worked for many years at the Antigo Daily Journal in proofreading and advertising.She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter Darlene (Jim) Liebergen of Green Bay; 2 sons, John Hiller of Green Bay, and Michael (Kathy) Hiller of Mukwonago; a brother, John (Beth) of Australia; 8 grandchildren, Kevin (Susie) Hiller, Paul Hiller, Chris (Shannon) Schuster, Steve Schuster, Mark Hiller, and Dane Hiller; and 3 great grandchildren, Jayden, Noah, and Adelaide.In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Joan.
