Gilbert John Falander

Gilbert John Falander died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 60 years old. He was born October 4, 1954 in Vancouver, WA, son of Henry John and Donna (Bishop) Falander. He graduated from High School in Vancouver. He served in the US Coast Guard. Mr. Falander was a saw filer by trade. He resided in Antigo for the past 14 years, and he earlier lived in various places including Hawaii, Wasington, Oregon, and Montana. In addition to his parents, survivors include his 3 sons Andrew (Amy) Falander of Antigo, Jeremy Falander of Portland, OR, and Brian Falander of Portland OR; a sister, Geraldine Falander of Vancouver, WA; a brother, David Falander Yakalt, WA; and his dear companion Cheryl Hargitt. Services will be held in Oregon.
