Glen Rogman, formerly of Antigo, died June 7 at Clare Bridge of Oro Valley in Tucson, AZ. He was 82 years old.Mr. Rogman was born August 27, 1928 in Woodstock, Il, a son of the late Albert and Helen (Gluth) Rogman.After graduating from Woodstock High School in 1946, Mr. Rogman served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy where he played Navy football. He still had the program from the Air Force vs. Navy Lily bowl of 1949. He married Jane Danilko in Rhinelander on March 29, 1951. He then went on to graduate from the De Forest Radio and Electronics Training School. He and Jane moved to Antigo and together owned and operated Rogman TV Sales & Service. He and Jane purchase D & M Beauty Salon. In his later years, Mr. Rogman was a real estate agent for Bolen Realty.Mr. Rogman was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club where he enjoyed frying steaks for the monthly meetings. Mr. Rogman served as the Veteran Service commissioner for Langlade County from 1968 until 2007.He took great pride in his family, home, yard, flower and vegetable gardens. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and hunting.Mr. Rogman is survived by a daughter, Susan (Kurt) Papke, Tucson, AZ, a son, Jeffrey (Teri) Rogman, Antigo, a granddaughter, Christine (Noah) Payton, Portland, OR, brother, LeRoy (Annette) Rogman, Elgin, IL and his friend since childhood, Fran Gies (Torman) of Berlin, WI.He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane and his son Lawrence.A memorial service will be held at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home on Saturday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Jeremiah Worman will officiate.Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Internment will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery.Susan and Jeff would like to thank all of the family and friends who have been so supportive for the last few years of their father's life. In his heart, he remembered you all and was so thankful for your love and friendship.
