Gloria A. Kolpack, age 77, died Thursday, July 30 at her Polar home. She was born December 19, 1931 in Langlade County, daughter of the late Ewald and Augusta (Schuman) Fleming. She graduated from Antigo High School, class of 1949. She married Milton H. Kolpack at St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar Wisconsin on May 20, 1950. Mr. Kolpack survives and lives in Polar. Mrs. Kolpack was a homemaker. She also owned and operated with her husband their family dairy farm until retiring in 1991. She and her husband were founding members of the Polar Blazers Snowmobile Club. She also was a member of the PTA at Polar Graded School, Polar Homemakers Club, and sang in St. Peter's Choir. Survivors include son, Terry (Gail) Kolpack, Antigo, daughter, Barbara (Wayne) Dieck, Antigo, daughter, Nancy (Fred) Resch, Birnamwood, daughter, Gail (Rick) Jagla, Birnamwood, son, Ken (Patty) Kolpack, Antigo, son, Tom (Paula) Kolpack, Elton, daughter, Julie (David) Benson, Polar and son, Bill (Jamie) Kolpack, Polar. Further survived by 24 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and sister, Arlene (Gene) Kuenzli of Rhinelander and a stepsister Eunice Page of Pearson. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Lu Flemming, Antigo and Nancy Fleming, Milwaukee, Rueben (Lucille) Kolpack, Lorraine Wheeler, Norman (Marge) Kolpack, Joan Labbus, Arcelia Kolpack, Maxine Basely and Jim (Doris) Norem and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by parents, two brothers, Clyde and William Fleming, stepsister Elaine Rogers and stepmother, Sylvia Fleming. Also proceeded in death by in-laws Edwin (Laurie) Kolpack, Lloyd Kolpack, Renata (Hilbert) Lucht, Archie Wheeler, Adeline (Edwin) Kelm, John Basely, Richard Labbus and Alex Kolpack. She enjoyed gardening treasured her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved being in the woods and the out of doors and viewing wildlife. Funeral services will be Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Polar at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be at the Strasser-Roller Funeral Home Saturday, August 1 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and at the church from 12:00 P.M. until the service on Sunday. Rev. Donald Engebretson will officiate. A memorial has been established in her name.
