Gloria Jean Edwards

Gloria Jean Edwards, age 84, of Antigo passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center.

Gloria was born March 28, 1940 in Antigo to the late Elmer and Viola (Buelow) Riemer.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1958. On January 17, 1961 she was united in marriage to Leon Edwards in Waukegan, IL. Leon preceded her in death on February 7, 2003

The couple raised their four children in Antigo. During those years, Gloria was a 4-H leader.

Gloria was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She worked for Jada Bait, Riverview, Tecsh’s, Linda’s Town & Country Bakery, Plaspac, and most recently Fleet Farm.

She treasured time with her family and watching her grandchildren in sports and activities.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Laura (Bob) Elliott of Appleton, Lynda (Jim) Solin of Lily, 2 sons: Mark (Roxanne) of Antigo and Brian (Eva) Edwards of Antigo, 7 grandchildren: Ashley (Michael) Radl, Christopher (Stephanie) Solin, Ronn (Jane) Elliott, Keegan Edwards (Sabrina Frisch), Logan Edwards, and Zoë Edwards, Jodi (Brian) Bushke, 8 great grandchildren: Michael, Madelyn, Beckett, William, Daron, Aria, Brooke-Lynn, and Infinity, 2 sisters: Nancy Jersey of Appleton and Karen (David) Kriegel of Arkansas, 2 sisters-in-law Betty and Linda Edwards both of Antigo.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Marilyn O’Keefe and 3 brothers-in-law: Dale, Tom Edwards and Don O’Keefe.

A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church at a later date. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.
