Hannah Beth Resch

Hannah Beth Resch passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2022. Hannah was born on December 23, 1998 in Silver Cliff, WI to Margie and the late Chad Atwood. She was homeschooled and graduated High School in 2016. Hannah’s calling in life was to become a wife and mother. On July 21, 2018, she was united in marriage to Douglas Resch at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Oratory in Green Bay. Hannah was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Oratory in Wausau and was involved in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She devoted her life to living in faith. She was a dedicated wife and mother who raised her children lovingly. She had a talent for the arts. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, drawing, playing piano, and sewing. She also loved to bake and cook and enjoyed spending time outdoors. In addition to her husband and mother, Hannah is survived by children Douglas Martin Resch and Elizabeth Mya Resch, siblings Amanda (Vincent) Wagner, Chad Atwood, Katie (Donald) Jay, Matthew Atwood, Monica (Ray) Elfering, Rachel (Trent) Karl, Veronica, Brianna, Katrina, Serena, Joshua, Jacob, and Joel Atwood, parents-in-law Joseph C. and Susan Resch, siblings-in-law Jenny (Bill) Neumann, Joe V. (Shannon) Resch, Linda (Brian) Engelbrecht, Greg (Molly) Resch, Andy (Kari) Resch, and Tom (Bernadette) Resch, grandparents Dale and Helen Atwood, grandparents-in-law Joseph A. Resch and the late Bernice Resch, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A High Mass for Hannah will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Oratory in Wausau at 11:00 AM with Rev. Canon Antoine Boucheron officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday. Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo on Thursday at 3:00 PM.
