Harold Charles Harvey

Harold Charles Harvey died Monday, December 9, 2013 at Langlade Hospital. He was 50 years old. He was born July 4, 1963, son of Nathalie (Gee) Harvey and the late Richard Harvey. Mr. Harvey worked as a carpenter, doing building construction and also furniture making. He was an Antigo resident, and as a teen he resided at Day Star Ministries in Federal Day, MN. He learned fly fishing from his father, and it was one of his favorite pastimes. He also loved to cook and was known for preparing the pig roast at Bad Habit Bar in Neva. He took pleasure in his yard work, gardening, watching deer, and racing his truck. He also was devoted to his dog Lucy. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a daughter, Kristy Lee Harvey of St. Charles, IL; a son, Jordon Gersmehl of Appleton; 2 sisters, Jacqulyn (Mark) Waggoner of Green Bay and Cheri Pontefract of Antigo; a brother, Richard John "DJ" (Inestine "Tina") Harvey; 2 grandchildren, Kaysin Alexander and Gionna; and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Rick Harvey. A fellowship gathering in Harold's memory will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday at Bad Habit Bar in Neva. Visitation will continue from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating.
