Harry A. Walk

Harry A. Walk, age 92, a lifelong Antigo resident, died at his home Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice.

Harry was born on April 7, 1931 in Antigo to the late Tony and Gertrude (Nelson) Walk.

On April 23, 1955 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Litzer. She survives.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School, served in the US Airforce, and worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad retiring as an engineer.

Harry enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, being at the ocean, and especially enjoyed daily walks with Evelyn.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters: Terry (William) Hilger of Antigo and Jane (Curt) Beattie of Weston, a son Mark Walk of Antigo, 6 grandchildren: Paul (Joanna) Hilger, Kelly (Aaron) Williams, Mark (Kaitlyn) Hilger, Jessica (Chad) Thiel, Steve Beattie, Andrew Beattie, 6 great grandchildren: Gabriel, Katherine, Jacob, Everleigh, Lela, and Penn.

Harry was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Betty Lukowicz, Jane Donohue, Georgia Tesch, and Carol Eiter.

A private celebration of Harry’s life will be held. Interment will be at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
