Helen Williams

Helen Jane Williams passed away on March 20, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital at the age of 82. Helen was born on February 19, 1940 in Langlade County to the late Joseph and Agnes (Lenzner) Artz. She graduated from Antigo High School in 1958. On September 16, 1961, she was united in marriage to Bill Williams at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Phlox. Bill preceded her in death on September 24, 2020. Helen worked as a homemaker, devoted to raising her family. She also helped with Bill business, Northern Building Maintenance and Supply, as well as worked for People's Bank as a teller. Helen was a member of Ss. Mary and Hyacinths Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends, reading, and most of all time with her family. She especially loved time with her grandchildren. Helen is survived by sons; Michael (Amanda) Williams of Jenison, MI and James Williams of Charlotte, NC, 7 grandchildren; Jordan, Emily, Madeleine, Isaiah, Bobby, Titus and Jacoba. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by sisters Joan Donohue and Bette Hianik and brother Jerry Artz. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Ss. Mary and Hyacinth's Catholic Church. Father Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30-11:15 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Memorials in Helen's name will be directed toward All Saints Catholic School.
