Jack Clayton Du Four

July 24, 1934 — December 20, 2011

Jack Clayton Du Four of Antigo died December 20, 2011 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation at the age of 77. He was born on July 24, 1934 in Crandon, WI, the son of Earl and Vivian (Hagen) Du Four. He married and later divorced Judith (Adel) Carlson; they remained friends through the years. Mr. Du Four graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School. He served in U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion in Gurnee, IL. Mr. Du Four was a carpenter and belonged to the Local 250 union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time in the WI Dells. He liked helping at The Ranch Riding Stable with his dear friend, Todd Nelson, Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Monica (Carey) Feranec, Kissimmee, FL; a son, Michael Du Four of Antigo; a brother, Gary (Barbara) Du Four, Mesa, AZ; and three grandchildren, Jacquelynn and Lauren Feranec, and Travis Du Four. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by step-daughter; Carrie Ann, a son, Christopher; a sister, Madeline Faye Du Four; and 2 brothers, Earl and Dale Du Four. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 31 at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, WI. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service at the Picha Funeral Home. Military honors will follow the service. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family along with Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton. Friends may visit www.strasserrollerfh.com.
