Jackie Gilbert Carley, lifelong area resident, died Tues., Feb. 16. He was born June 12, 1956 in Antigo, son of the late Gilbert and Muriel (Warner) Carley. On Aug. 14, 1999 he married Cindy (Fleischman) in Antigo.Jack attended Antigo High School, graduating in 1975. He owned and operated Jack's Brookside for 33 years, and also operated Jack and Cindy's in Neva. He was fire warden for the Town of Rolling for 20 years, and a member of the Langlade County Tavern League. He was also a sponsor of the Safe Ride Home program. Jack was very devoted to his family and friends, and was always there for everyone.In addition to his wife, survivors include 2 daughters, Caitlyn and Caysha; a son Caleb; step-children, Jamie, Joshua, Zak, Shanna, Quentin, Derek, Jordan, and Shaylyn; a sister, Janice Carley-Schultz of Wausau; 3 brothers, Jerry (Georgia) Carley of Shawano, Patrick (Teresa) of Antigo, Ronald (Brian) of Antigo; mother and father in law, Luella and Conrad Adamski of Antigo; 4 nieces and nephews, Roger Allen Schultz, Daniel C. Schultz, Kerri (Jamie) Piller, and Trisha Carley; brothers and sisters in law and their families, Gary (Pat Parker) Fleischman of Antigo, Julie (Larry) Keen of Aniwa, Debbie (Jerry) Zimmerman of Aniwa, David and Tarah Fleischman of Antigo, and Michelle (Todd) Hartman of Antigo.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 nephews, Bret, Matthew, and Tyler.
