Jaxson Ray Smith

Jaxson Ray Smith infant son of Alexis Rose Holland and Blake Edward Smith joined his beloved family members that went before him on Friday, July 15, 2022. Jaxson was born on May 10, 2022 in Wausau, WI. He was faced with many medical challenges and fought like a real trouper. Although his time here was so short, he left a loving imprint on all who came to know him, from his family, to friends, and his medical team. Survivors include his parents Alexis and Blake of Antigo, maternal grandparents; Angela and Sam Wierzba of Antigo, Gary Holland of Antigo, maternal great grandmothers; Ruth Bricko and Christine Holland, both of Antigo, paternal grandparents; Cindy and Eric Graham of Mount Airy, NC, paternal great grandparents; Dan and Marie Nobel and Cindy and Rick Wriston, and great great paternal grandparents; Jan Nobel and Mary Baldwin, maternal aunts and uncles; Shana (Brad) Volkman, Casey Anstutz (Dillen), Brianna Holland (Nick), Maddie Wierzba, Marcus Wierzba, paternal aunts and uncles; Haili, Carrie, and Alyssa Smith, Trentan Crawford, cousins; Micah and Bentley, and many aunts, uncles and extended family. Jaxson was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joshua Edward Smith, and his maternal great grandfathers; Don Bricko and Don Holland. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Reverend Dick Kendall will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Star Neva Cemetery. We have each been blessed to love Jaxson and to be loved by him. He will remain in our hearts forever.
