Jeanette Allen of Antigo, died Friday Jan. 7, 2011 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation. She was 71 years old.She was born Sept. 25, 1939 in Polar, daughter of the late Otto and Sarah (Kieper) Hintz. She married Clarence Allen on Oct. 18, 1958 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Polar. He preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 2001.A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Allen was a homemaker. She also worked at Diercks and Sons potato farm and as a lumber grader at Robbins Flooring.She was a member of Four Corners Assembly of God in White Lake. She liked to spend time with her friends in the West of 50's Club at church. She also enjoyed gardening, music, camping, and traveling. Survivors include 3 daughters, Lynn (Brian) Messer, Brenda (Tim) Pranke, and Patty (Bill) Wahleithner, all of White Lake; 5 sisters, Arlene (Larry) Somann of Antigo, Grace Franklin of Moline, IL, Eleanor Ortlieb of Galesburg, IL, twin sister Joan Heistad of Antigo, and Carol Hoolsema of Marion; 7 grandchildren, Mandi (Gerald) Mauritz, Amy (Kris) Arrowood, April (fiancé Brian Adamski) Pranke, Annie Wahleithner, Heather (Nick) DeHart, Greg Messer, Matthew Wahleithner; 7 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gabriel, Braydan, Paytan, Avery, Caybrey, and Brinna; 3 sisters-in-law Lucille Quist, Margie Allen, and Viola Allen, all of Sheboygan; 3 brothers-in-law, Cecil (Florence) Allen of Rhode Island, Leon (Rose) Allen of White Lake, and Walter (Valerie) Allen of West Allis; many nieces and nephews, and good friends Barb and Lonnie.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elayne Baker, and 5 brothers, Rueben, Wally, Erv, Al, and Jim.
