Jesse Hess

Jesse E. Hess passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Antigo. He was born June 20, 1938 in Antigo, Wisconsin . He formerly resided in Kenosha, WI. On December 23, 1983, he was united in marriage to Edelgard "Ellie" Richter in Antigo. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2011. Jesse worked for the Langlade County Highway Department for over 20 years. Survivors include a step-son, Steven Van Boven of Kenosha; a step-daughter, Lisa (Wayne) Fleischman of Antigo; 3 grandchildren, Amanda (Joseph) Nowak, Marshall Broeske, and Justin Broeske, a sister, Charlotte Hatfield of Deerbrook; great grandson, Jesse Nowak, and nieces and nephews In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by parents Dell and Ida (Karbon) Hess, brother Tom Hess, sister Della LeMay, and a nephew Peter Hatfield. Jesse enjoyed fishing, hunting in his younger years and watching classic westerns. He was a dedicated husband and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild. No services will be held per his request. He will remain forever in our hearts.
