Joan M. (McClean) Kwick, of Pearson, died Sun. March 21 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 71 years old. She was born July 3, 1938 in Antigo, daughter of early Langlade County settlers, John W. McClean and Margaret (Mervyn) McClean. She married Ronald G. Kwick on June 11, 1962, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2007.Mrs. Kwick graduated from Antigo High School in 1956. She was an accordion teacher, cake decorator, first responder, and 4-H leader. She enjoyed country gospel music, crafts, flea markets, crocheting, gardening, and genealogy.Survivors include a daughter, Barbara J. Dunivent of Lac du Flambeau; 4 sons, Gregory J. of Aniwa, Dane A. of Pearson, Ronald G. (Kris) of Antigo, and Martin L. of Aniwa; 3 sisters, Mary Doering of Summit Lake, Sandra Scott (William) of Summit Lake, and Carol (Ron) Schultz of Minocqua; 6 grandchildren, Jonathon Palmlund, Erin Palmlund, Charles Palmlund, Kathryn Hoyt, Kurtis Kwick, Mackenzie Keefer; a step-grandson, Andrew Pratt; and 2 great-grandchildren, Allen Hoyt, and Carter Hoyt.She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
