Joanne Lukefahr

Joanne Lukefahr of Antigo, passed away on July 22, 2026 at Eastview Health and Rehabilitation Center, under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 83 years old. She joined her husband for his 83rd birthday celebration, passing away on his birthday.

Joanne was born on July 6, 1943 in Antigo to the late David and Betty (Ably) Eldridge. She graduated from Marion High School, in Marion, IN. On October 25, 1961, she was united in marriage to Tom Lukefahr. He preceded her in death in 1990.

Joanne worked in Administration for Lifetime Fitness and for Thompson Kolpack Insurance. She enjoyed traveling, especially by motorhome and she even lived in all states but 3. Reading was one of her biggest passions and she was an avid movie watcher. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by daughters Heather (Scott) Sprengler of Bryant, Chanin (Richard) Zellner of Eckert, CO, and Tammy (Rindy) Lukefahr of Jordan, MN, grandchildren Erika (Zak), Tessa (Ethan), Molly Jay, Jeffrey, Thomas (Sarah), Matthew (Sochita), Renee (Cody), Frank (Amanda), and Ann (Jimmy), great grandchildren Amelia, Grayson, Akara, Charlie, Ashtyn, Eloise, Boone, and Lennon, siblings Janet Ann (Robert) Campbell of Boulder, CO and Tom Eldridge of Prescott, AZ.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joanne was preceded in death by a great grandson Huck, a nephew Matthew Campbell, and sister-in-law Karen Eldridge.

A private burial will be held at Langlade Cemetery.
