Joanne Skorie

Joanne M. (McCarthy) Skorie, 65, of White Lake passed away November 18, 2022 peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Joanne was born January 26, 1957 in Hales Corners to her parents, Leonard and Elizabeth (Betty) McCarthy. She attended New Berlin West High School as apart of the class of 1975. She married Roger Skorie on July 19, 2007 at Saint Matthews Lutheran Church in White Lake.

Joanne loved animals, most especially horses, fishing with her son and husband, gardening, watching the birds, deer and other wildlife from her deck, baking, spoiling her grandchildren, and spending time with her family, who she took great pride in. She was a member of the Four Corners Assembly of God in White Lake. She was a friend to anyone she would meet. All who grew to know her, grew to love her.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Skorie of White Lake, her son, Michael (Jennifer) Evon of Rothschild, her granddaughters, Brandi (Austin) Imhoff, Destani Evon, Elizabeth Evon and Peyton Evon. She is also survived by her brother, Pat (Jayne) McCarthy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Elizabeth (Betty) McCarthy.

Services for Joanne will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Visitation will be from 10a - noon, service at noon with a lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Four Corners Assembly of God.
