Jody Brian Long

Jody Brian Long, of Antigo, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Easview Manor under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was born January 26, 1959 in Long Beach, CA, son of Easter "Samantha" (Sloan) and the late Alger "Mike" Long. He married Donna Hitz on Oct. 13, 1989 in Antigo, and she survives. He was employed as a CDL driver, and operated trucks and buses. Mr. Long was a veteran, serving in the US Army. Survivors, in addition to his wife Donna Long of Antigo and his mother Easter "Samantha" Taylor of Washington State, include a daughter, Marie Abig of Gleason; sons, Kerry Mosher of Gleason, Jody "JB" (Chong) Long II of Florida, Ricky (Courtney) Long of Baraboo, Alexander Alger Long of Antigo, and Jacob Henry Long currently stationed at Fort Hood, TX; a stepson; a sister, Jonna (Tod) Sherard of Washington State; a brother Paul Antinoro of Washington State; 3 grandchildren; and 2 step-grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
