Joseph Arthur Ziemendorf

Joseph Arthur Ziemendorf, of Elcho, died on July 17, 2015 at the age of 25. He was born Sept. 22, 1989 in Green Bay. His parents are Dean and Carole (Eckhardt) Ziemendorf. Joseph graduated from Sheboygan North High School. He was a recent graduate of the Northcentral Technical College Wood Processes program. His family is grateful to Travis from NTC, who mentored Joseph through the program. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and for his whole life he loved spending time at the family's cottage on Post Lake. He played baseball through high school, and was a talented pitcher. He also recently played on softball leagues. Survivors include his parents, Dean and Carole Ziemendorf of Post Lake; his daughter, Molly Klumb; special friend Jennifer Schoeneck of Rhinelander; his maternal grandmother, Dolores Eckhardt of Butler; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and other family. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Raymond Eckhardt, and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Ziemendorf. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho, with Fr. David Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, 504 Edison St., Antigo, WI, with parish wake service at 8:00. A second visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow the service at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Elcho.
