Joseph "Midge" N. Reszko

Joseph N. Reszko “Midge”, went home to be with the Lord March 7, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 22, 1947 to the late Helen Mikolajczyk and Stanley Reszko in Germany. He was raised by his parents in Chicago, IL. He was united in marriage to the late Janice Reszko.

Joseph was a maintenance man at Johnson Electric Coil Co, in Antigo for many years. He also worked for Exxon Mobile for years. He was a great mechanic. He loved watching the Chicago Bears. He was a very generous and humble man, who would help anyone in need. Joseph was a member of Faith Christian Community Church in Wausau.

Joseph is survived by his children: Tammy (Bill) Larson of Knowlton, WI, Susan (Rod) Ristow of Wausau, Carolyn (Dan) Kedzierski of Wausau, and Joe (Rachel) Reszko of Antigo. In addition to his children, he is survived by siblings: Hank (Marsha) Reszko of Georgia, Mary (Sylvester) Soszynski of Illinois, Christine (Wesley) Gwizdak of Illinois, Sophie (late Casey) Bysiek of Illinois, and Liz (Bob) Tikovitsch of Illinois. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tabitha (James) Tatro-Johonnott of Eau Claire, WI, Eric Wierschke of Knowlton, WI Corrin (AJ) Allord of Antigo, and Bradley McGhee of Kronenweter, WI. Great grandchildren include: Michael and Jalyn Allord of Antigo, many nieces and nephews, and a brother-in-law Ron Whited of South Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Janice Reszko, father-in-law Don Whited, brother-in-law Lenny Whited, step father Nick Mikolajczyk, and brother-in-law Casey Bysiek.

A funeral service for Joseph will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Weinkauf officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
