Judith Ann Young

Judith Ann Young, age 77, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and her family.

Judy was born on April 5, 1947 in Antigo to the late Dale and Dawn (Delaney) Williams.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School.

On October 19, 1968 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Tim Young, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo.

Judy was the office manager at GTE for many years. She also assisted her husband Tim at TJ’s and the Antigo Athletic Club and worked as the church secretary at St. Wencel’s.

Judy loved music, dancing, gardening, game shows, reading and comedy. She enjoyed playing racquetball and teaching aerobics classes. She had a kind gentle nature; however, she was surprisingly competitive when it came to games with her family.

Her family meant the world to her. She treasured every moment with them including the special times at the cabin in Pearson. She will be remembered by them with a smile and a tear, as she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Tim, Judy is survived by her 2 children: Tina (Andy) Tillman of Appleton and Mark Young (Kim Jahnke) of Antigo, grandchildren: Brock, Claire, Ainsley, Jack, and William.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother Terry Williams.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church. The Very Reverend Father Joel Sember along with Father Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service at the church.

Interment will be in Pearson Cemetery.

Memorials in Judy’s name may be directed towards the Alzheimer’s Association.
