Karen Bickler

Karen J. Bickler, of White Lake, died at Aspirus Wausau Hospital Tues., July 13, 2010. She was 67 years old. She was born Oct. 7, 1942, daughter of the late "Doc" Kegley and Opal (Skaggs) Kegley. She married William Bickler on April 21, 1971, and he survives. She was a graduate of Antigo High School.Karen was born in Moorehead, KY, and moved with her family to Polar. She later resided in Sheboygan, where she was employed as a machine inspector at Tecumseh Motors. She later moved back to Langlade County, residing in White Lake since 1997.Survivors, in addition to her husband, include 2 daughters, Teri Fritsch of Weston, and Cathy Jo Fritsch of Rockford, IL; stepson, Dave (Maxine) Bickler of Deerbrook; 3 sisters, Mary Lois (Charles) Brandish of Florida, Marjorie (Chuck) Maggio of Henderson, NV, and Sandy Tott of Milwaukee; 3 brothers, Glen (Rosemary) Kegley of Antigo, Herbert Kegley of Georgia, and Roger (Shirley) Kegley of Lake Havasu, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Wesley, Amber, and Alyssa Bickler of Antigo, Heather (Shannon) Hoeffler of Green Bay, Jessica Bickler of Green Bay, Nicholas Alft serving in Afghanistan, and Ryan Fritsch of Indiana; and a great-granddaughter Arhianna Hoeffler of Green Bay.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.In accordance with Karen's wishes, private services were held. Burial took place in Town of Evergreen Cemetery.
