Katherine King

Katherine King, age 94, formerly of Post Lake, died Saturday at Evergreen Terrace in Antigo. Katherine was born June 14, 1914 to the late James and Elizabeth (Grahm) King in Indianapolis, IN. She lived in Green Bay and graduated from Green Bay High School. Her family owned and operated Green Bay Tent and Awning. She was an avid Packer fan. At the age of four she attended her first Packer game. In 1951 she moved to Elcho. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Elcho School District for 25 years. She enjoyed living at Post Lake and having friends visit. She owned resort rentals at Post Lake. She also liked to sew and knit. She was also a member of the Martha Washington Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Green Bay. Katherine is survived by a nephew of Colorado and a grand nephew and 3 grand nieces.
