Kathie C. Pool

Kathie C. Pool, age 68, passed away in her home under the care of family members and Leroyer Hospice on August 13, 2025.

Kathie was born in Antigo WI, on December 12, 1956, to the late Sophie E Langlois and Roy M Perrot. She married the love of her life James D Pool on February 3rd, 1973. After marrying, they lived on Jim's family land, where they raised their 5 children and continued to reside there.

Kathie spent most of her life raising her children with Jim on the family land. Her children were involved in many activities such as 4-wheeler racing, 4-H, rodeos, barrel racing, trail rides, and NBHA, which Kathie loved to attend. Kathie worked at Sunnydale Farms doing a little bit of everything for 11 years, and at Johnson Electric Coil Company as a heavy hand winder for 30 years before having to retire. She did various tasks around the farm that they lived on, her favorite being her beef cows, especially Oreo, her baby. Kathie enjoyed camping, traveling with Jim, and celebrating the holidays with her children and grandbabies and friends and family.

Kathie was always a safe space and welcoming face to all of those around her. She was a first-time mom at 15, but that did not stop her from enjoying her life and giving her family everything they needed and more. She brought anyone or anything into their home that needed a place to go, including a wild fox she named Hygirl. Her and Jim's home is the center of the family.

Kathie is survived by her husband: James Pool. Sibling's Emily Doucette, Eugene “Butch” (Kathy) Perrot, Kay (Russ)Crum, and Shawn (Suzie)Perrot. Her children: Tracey L (James) Justice, Julie K (Rodney) Vandenlangenberg, James R (Sarah) Pool, Trena J (Chadwick) Romenesko, and Bobbi J (Brad) MacDonald. Her 11 grandchildren: Justin J (Rosie) Brewer, Caleb R (Lexie), Leah M Vandenlangenberg, Dylan J (Harley) Spencer, Devin T (Brie) Pool, Levi J (Courtlynn), Bowen C, Taeya J Romenesko, Destini M (Skyler) Jocoby, Kaylee S, Coda J MacDonald. 3 Step-grandchildren: Corrie M Brewer, Lindsey N, Kyara L(Triston) Macdonald. 3 Great grandchildren: Aubree K Brewer, Jacob D Jacoby, Aelin K Romenesko. 7 Step-Great grandchildren: Aysha and Khloe Brewer, Nichole R Brewer, Maggie M MacDonald, Dakota L.N, Gavin J, Aubree N Igl. As well as son in-law David (Tina) Brewer 3 stepsisters, 2 stepbrothers, 3 sister in-laws, 1 brother in-law, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong loving friends.

Including her parents, Kathie was preceded in death by her mother and father in-laws, Roy Land Nellie M Pool, stepmother Shirley Perrot, 4 baby sisters, 2 sister in-laws, 3 brother in-laws, 1 stepbrother and 1 great grandbaby.

A Private Family Celebration of life will be held.
