Kathleen "Kitty" Drabek

Kathleen “Kitty” Carol Drabek, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, May 14, 2024 under the care of her husband, Stanley and LeRoyer Hospice.

Kitty was born on August 25, 1941, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Gadzecki) Balcerowski.

She was raised in the Milwaukee area along with her 11 brothers and sisters.

Kitty was united in marriage to Stanley Drabek in 1962 in Milwaukee.

The couple moved to Antigo, where Kitty worked for Amron Corporation.

Together, Stanley and Kitty enjoyed trips to Kentucky and Tennessee in the springtime, camping throughout the mountains. Kitty also enjoyed visiting the casinos, sewing and flower gardening.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Kitty is survived by a foster daughter Sandy Zima, a brother Duane Balcerowski of Milwaukee, sister-in-laws: Kitty (Terry) Kelly, Phyllis (Duane) Doucette, Vicky Monnot, a brother-in-law Dale (Linda) Drabek, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by ten siblings.

No Services will be held.

Burial will be in Bohemia Cemetery, Antigo.
