Kathryn A. Pukall

Kathryn A. Pukall went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2017 at Evergreen Terrace. She was 95 years old. She was born April 12, 1922 in the Town of Summit, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Gnahn) Steger. She married Armond Pukall on September 20, 1944 in Gleason, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Pukall graduated from Antigo High School in 1938. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Antigo Co-op Oil Association. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Dorcas Society. She was an active volunteer for numerous church functions, including the church office. Survivors include her 3 sons, Dennis (Carol) Pukall of Antigo, Dale (Lynn) Pukall of Council Bluffs, IA, and David (Sue) Pukall of Talbott, TN; 5 grandchildren, Brian, (Alessandra) Pukall of Miami, FL, Renee (John) Pence of Huntington, IN, Jeff (Heather) Pukall of Council Bluffs, IA, and Kim (Jon) York of Council Bluffs, IA; a step-grandson Scott Thomas of Hartford; and 14 great grandchildren, Vittoria, Camille, Nick, Emily, Anna, Micah, Eli, Jaydyn, Landon, Arabella, Damyn, Caleb, Brooke, and Beckett. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Audrey Tiegs and Edna Cole; and 2 brothers, Vernon Steger and Richard Steger. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be 1:30-3:00 Sunday at the church.
