Keith "Wally" Perlberg

Keith "Wally" Perlberg, age 87, of Summit Lake died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. Wally was born on March 28, 1932 in Ironwood, MI to the late Barney and Edith Perlberg. On December 27, 1952 he was united in marriage to Nancy Marander at Salem Church in Ironwood, MI. Wally was employed at Motor Transport as a truckdriver. He was president of the Sno Devils Snowmobile Club for 25 years and a member of the Summit Lake American Legion. He served in in the US Army during the Korean War. He and Nancy resided in Ironwood until 1959, Menomonee Falls, WI from 1959 to 1976, Sussex, WI from 1976 until 1981, and then moved to Summit Lake, WI. Survivors in addition to his wife, Nancy, include a daughter Roberta Krause of Antigo, a son Gene (Renee) Perlberg of Sussex and 6 grandchildren; Ryan Rohacek of Summit Lake, Jamie (Josh) Robrecht of Antigo, Steve (Nikki) Krause of Merton, Jerad (Shanna) Perlberg of Hubertus, Amber (Andrew) Wirth of St. Paul, Mn, Kellen (Ashley) Perlberg of Portland, OR and 7 great grandchildren. A celebration of life with sharing will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Summit Lake. Military honors will be held at the graveside.
