Larry Paulson

September 2, 1970 — May 11, 2026

Larry Jerome Paulson passed away on May 11, 2026 due to heart complications. He was born a twin to parents Herbert Wolter Paulson and Esther Henretta Mantik on August 9, 1946 in Marathon County.

He is survived by his wife Nancie Paulson, children Pam (Paul) Martin, Melanie (Reese) West, Mat Paulson and children by marriage Jessie Powell, David Powell, Shantel Powell.

He was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Esther Paulson, brothers Jeff, John, Jerry, Jim and sisters Judy Dyas and twin Susan Franklin. He was also preceded in death by a grandsons Jager Powell and Sammy.

For many years, he resided in Ontario, California where he was a coiler in spring manufacturing at Precision Coil Spring. In 2000 Larry moved to Appleton, WI where he continued in spring production until retiring from Fox Valley Spring Company.

Larry then proceeded to be Papa to his great grandson Sterling. Larry enjoyed being his care giver while his parents were at work. Larry loved his family and campfires where he was always surrounded by family and friends. Add in his favorite margarita and stars and it was the perfect night.

Larry was well loved and will be missed. He leaves behind brothers Joe (Rachel) Paulson, Wendal (Cindy) Paulson, sister Jeanne (Duane) and many nieces and nephews.

With Nancie, he shared 7 grandkids and 8 great grandkids, including his special little boy, Sterling West. In addition, from his prior marriage, Larry is survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and preceded in death by grandson, Sammy.

Larry was so loved for his open heart and kind soul. He will be missed. Fly high Larry.

At this time, per wishes of Larry, no funeral or event will be scheduled.
