Larry Roesel

Larry Robert Roesel, age 80, of Summit Lake, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his home.

Larry was born on November 20, 1942 to the late Norman and Meta (Heimerman) Roesel. He was a graduate of Kewaksum High School.

He was well known and a friend to many as he owned and operated Our Place (Larry’s Place) in Summit Lake since 1982. He also had a special interest in aviation, German history, and a great love for music.

Larry is survived by four nephews, Tim Roesel, Lonn Roesel (Stacie), Trever Roesel (Teresa), Kevin Roesel and one niece, Cheryl Blomstrom (Vic). He is also survived by his Mother-in-law: Carol Brown, Sister-in laws: Kathy Roesel, Kelly (Stuart), Tracy (Scott), Diane (John), Robin (Jef), Nieces: Andrea (Travis), Tiffany, and Victoria.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Richard Roesel, and a nephew, Randy Roesel.

A celebration in memory of Larry will be held in the Spring in Summit Lake.
