Lawrence Ingram died Friday, April 04, 2014 at Kindred – Eastview at the age of 91. He was born Feb. 22, 1923 in Elton, son of the late Ernest "Tim" and Maude (Adkins) Ingram. He married Evelyn Holeton on Aug. 9, 1946. He and Evelyn raised their family in Hollister. She preceded Mr. Ingram in death on Oct. 2, 2007. He operated a dairy farm in Hollister, while working on the track maintenance for the Soo Line Railroad. He loved hunting, raising hound dogs, cows, and farming. He will be remembered for his gardening, and offering a smile and wave to those who passed by his garden. He loved all his family and friends from Hollister, to White Lake, to Antigo. Survivors include 2 daughters, Sis (Gary) Schuelke of Antigo and Shirley (Tom) Stuck of Antigo; 3 sons, Gene of Antigo, Larry (Carla) of Sarona, Tom (Wendy) of Kenosha; 3 stepchildren, Daniel, Terry, and Richard Peterson; 2 sisters, Jessie and Violet, both of Kenosha; and 19 grandchildren, Candy, Clyde, Linda, Shannon, Marti, Gene Jr., Ann, Brandon, Cindy, Jason, Tom Jr., Nikki, Randy, Angie, Tristien, Devin, Vicki, Jim, and Lori; and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Candy; a sister, Mary Ellen; 6 brothers, Hubert, Kenneth, Clyde, Virgil, Lloyd, and Omar; son in law, Keith Wirtz; and a stepdaughter, Patsy Jean. A funeral service will take place at noon on Wednesday, April 9 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Bent Cemetery. Special thank you to our cousin John "Johnifer" Ingram for the love and care you gave your uncle, our dad.
