Lawrence "Larry" William Euler, Jr.

Lawrence "Larry" William Euler, Jr., age 74, of Antigo, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. He fought a courageous battle with cancer, throughout which his faith never faltered. Larry was born October 23, 1939 to the late Lawrence Sr. and Martha Hope (Ward) Euler in Merrill, WI. Larry farmed with his family in the Merrill area before going to work as an over the road truck driver. He resided in Colorado from 1981-2007 until he retired to Antigo, where he was employed by Quinlan's Equipment as a custodial engineer. Larry was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He enjoyed being on the road, collecting John Deere memorabilia, working on cars, being outside doing yard work, and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his son, Lawrence "Chip" W. (Virgene) Euler III of DeKalb, IL and grandson, Lawrence "Kitt" IV of Lakewood, CO; daughter, Debra Tuchel and grandson Carl of Janesville, MN; son Brian (Nancy) Euler of Aurora, IL and grandchildren Elissa of Oswego, IL, Brianna and Dylan of Aurora, IL; stepdaughter, Casi Tilghman of Colorado; two sisters and four brothers, Barbara Klade of Merrill, Dennis (Donna) Euler of Post Falls, ID, Willy (Candy) Euler of Reno, NV, Jimmy (LeAnne) Euler of Sun City, AZ , Patricia (Mark) Sturm of Wausau, Mark (Marian) Euler of Centennial, CO; his first wife, Sandra (Klade) Euler of Crossville, TN; grandson, Zane Weaver of Canyon City, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Carole Tilghman Euler, and Margaret "Peggy" Euler; and infant daughter, Candace Euler. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church in Antigo, with Rev. Brad Anderson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
