Lee (Leroy) Hupf

January 13, 1942 — August 18, 2009

Lee (LeRoy) Anthony Hupf, age 67 of Oxford, WI found peace and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Lee was born January 13, 1942 in Laona, WI. On December 7, 1963 he married Benita Blaha at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo, WI. She survives and resides in Oxford, WI.Lee was a graduate of Crandon High School class of 1960. He then attended Langlade County Teachers College and later, UW Stevens Point and UW Oshkosh. Lee taught at White Lake Middle school and coached basketball in the 1960's. After teaching he became employed by Ison Equipment in Monico later managing their store in Ashland, WI. From there he went on to become Assistant Vice President of the Eagle River State Bank, before moving to Cedar City, Utah where he managed for Century Equipment.Returning to WI in 1994, Lee most recently lived in Oxford, where he became a member of First Presbyterian Church. Lee enjoyed gardening, hunting, ice fishing, boating and was an avid fan of the Brewers, Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.In addition to his wife Benita, Lee is survived by his mother Louella Marvin of Crandon, a daughter, Kristin (Jon) Horsfall of DeForest,WI, grandson, Travis, sister, Judy (Richard) Cundiff of Antigo, sister-in-law, Valerie Breitsprecher and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Hupf was preceded in death in by his stepfather, William Marvin, father, Norman Hupf and a son, William John Hupf.
