Linda Klassen, age 64, died at her home in Elcho under the care of LeRoyer Hospice on Sunday, September 30, 2012. She was born Oct. 25, 1947 in Antigo, daughter of the late Arnold and Loretta (Cross) Klemann. She married Eugene Klassen, and he preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Antigo High School and Northcentral Technical College. She was employed as a caregiver by Visiting Nurse Association where she provided exceptional care until her retirement. She formerly resided in Sherwood, WI before returning to the Elcho area. Mrs. Klassen will be remembered for her sense of humor. Her quick wit and bright smile brought joy to those around her. She enjoyed a good fish fry, attending the Hodag festival with her loved ones, listening to country music, gardening, canning, playing Yahtzee, and was an avid reader. She is survived by a sister, Susan Arrowood; nieces and nephews, Kristine (Kevin) Jaster, Robert (Kandy Goerke) Klemann, Raymond (Julie) Arrowood, John (Susan) Arrowood, and Tammy (Craig) Westfall; great-nieces and great-nephews Jordan Klemann, Abigail Klemann, Madison Klemann, Thomas Jaster, Tyler Jaster, Joni Arrowood, Jenny Arrowood, Nicholas Arrowood, Christopher Arrowood, Jakob Westfall, Brittany Westfall, and Takota Westfall; and many cousins, including her dear cousins Phyllis Chaffer and Kathy Oudenhoven. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother Henry Klemann, and infant brother Michael Klemann. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Pastor Shane Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be 11-2 Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Summit Lake. Following the service, a luncheon and celebration gathering will take place at Dave's Sub and Pub in Elcho at approximately 4:00 P.M.
