Linda Mary Ramos

Linda Mary Ramos, age 61, of Antigo passed away peacefully Saturday, August 19, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

Linda was born on December 7, 1961 in Antigo to the late Floyd and Doris (Cunningham) Burkhart.

Linda was united in marriage to Nigel Ramos on August 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Antigo.

Linda was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1980. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Linda’s Christian faith was of utmost importance to her. She read her Bible daily and found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life.

Linda worked for many years at Walmart. She enjoyed doing crafts and creating gifts for friends and family, listening to contemporary Christian music on her favorite radio station, 89Q. Using her God given gifts to work with children and her love of God, Linda taught the Cubbies in AWANAS for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Nigel, sisters; Lalie (Steve) Wilke and Sarah (David) Borneman, brothers; Frank and Floyd Burkhart, mother-in-law Bonnie (Royce) Lewis, grandmother Carol Godager, sister-in-law Sierra Lewis, aunt Cora (Gary) Monteen, uncle Rick (Roxane) Godager, her dear friend Kate Raab, many nieces, nephews, and members of the Burkhart and Cunningham families.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister Laura Shidell, a niece Cassandra Borneman, and her grandfather Ron Godager.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home with Pastor John Sass officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
