Lois Goeman

Lois Maxine Goeman, age 95, passed away on February 5, 2022 at The Bay at Eastview. Lois was born on August 9, 1926 in Antigo to the late Ronald and Inez (Tucker) Moss. Lois was an Antigo native and then moved to Stevens Point in 1957. She then moved to De Forest, Wisconsin while George was employed with employed with Wisconsin National Guard Bureau. Upon his retirement, they returned to the Antigo area where many friends still reside. She graduated Antigo High School, class of 1944. On October 11, 1947, she was united in marriage to George Goeman. He preceded her in death in October 1996. Lois and George had 50 years together. They enjoyed many friends locally and much traveling over the United States to enjoy friends they met during George’s 33-year military career. Lois loved cooking, baking, entertaining, and dancing, as well as spending time outdoors at Antigo and Pelican Lake and summers at the cottage. Lois was a friend to all and loved helping others. Lois is survived by daughter Diane Disher of San Diego, CA, granddaughter Amy Disher of Antigo, and brother Larry Moss of Pelican Lake. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by son, Glenn Goeman, sisters Carol Donahue and Janet Heckman, and brother Richard Moss. In accordance with Lois’s wishes, no services will be held.
