Loren Dale Deisinger

Loren Dale Deisinger, 76, White Lake, Wisconsin died at home on June 2, 2023. Loren was born on December 5, 1946 to Julius and Irene (Hayes) Deisinger in White Lake where he lived his whole life.

Loren attended White Lake High School and served his country for six years in the National Guard. He worked on the family farm and was employed by Robbins, Inc in White Lake.

Loren had a great love for the outdoors and spent as much time as possible hunting, fishing and trapping. He was fortunate to experience hunting in Colorado and South Dakota. His dream however, was to visit Alaska. In 2012 he fulfilled this dream by traveling with his nephew to the Kenai Peninsula for a fishing trip. He would return three more times to Alaska for fishing and sightseeing with the most recent trip in 2021. Loren enjoyed making his own fishing lures and reloading his own ammunition for hunting. He also loved smoking his own salmon and sharing it with others.

He is survived by two sisters. Bernadine Skorie and Audrey Gilligan and one brother, Bernard (Grace) Deisinger and sister-in-law, Irma Deisinger, along with many other relatives and friends.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donald, Clyde and Glen Deisinger. One sister, Eloyis Lewis. Sisters in law, Gertrude and Mary Deisinger. Brothers in law, Joseph Skorie, Purgie Lewis and Rolyn Gilligan. Several nieces and nephews also preceded him in death.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life for Loren on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, Antigo, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Bent Cemetery in Bryant with military honors. Following the ceremony, lunch will be served at the White Lake Community Center.
