Lorraine Marie Jankowski

Lorraine Marie Jankowski, age 78, of Antigo died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay. Lorraine was born on December 21, 1940 in Antigo to the late John and Gladys (Prosser) Strasser. Lorraine was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1958. She was united in marriage to Ray Jankowski on October 9, 1965 at St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church in Antigo. Ray preceded her in death on February 9, 2016. She and Ray owned and operated a dairy farm for 35 years. She then became a certified nursing assistant and worked at Eastview Manor. She was active with her family in 4-H and served on the PTO. She was a member of Ss. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church and was also a member of the Rosary Society. She enjoyed flower gardening, music, playing the piano, reading, traveling and visits to the casino. Survivors include 7 sons; Paul of Irving, TX, Andrew (Suzie) of Neenah, WI, Anthony (Cindy) of Casar, NC, David (Angella) of Antigo, Bruce of Antigo, Luke (Jonathan) of Park Falls, Benjamin of Antigo, 8 grandchildren; Vincent, Joshua, Serena, Lillian, Katherine, Jacob, Abigail, and Andrew. In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by a brother Jack Strasser. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Ss. Mary and Hyacinth's Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 15, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home with a wake service at 4:00 PM and on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 until 10:45 AM. Interment will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aspirus Langlade Hospital, Aurora BayCare, and the staff and caring friends at The Bay at Eastview.
