Lucile Harriet Campbell

Lucile Harriet Campbell of Wausau died Monday, Jan. 20 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital at the age of 92. She was born April 27, 1921 in Marshfield, daughter of the late Elmer and Harriet (Moede) Lautenbach. Lucile was a graduate of Marshfield High School and Wausau Business College. She worked at Employers Mutual Insurance for over 13 years, where she was manager of the accounts receivable department. She married John E. Campbell in June 1957. They were residents of Elton for over 30 years. John preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1992. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Survivors include 2 sons, Brent (Mary Jo) Campbell of West Olive, MI, and Dean (Cynthia) Campbell of Stevens Point; 3 stepchildren, Don (Nancy) Campbell of Owings, MD, Jerry (Daryl) Campbell of Antigo, and Sally Wineburner of Marinette; a sister, Margaret Golding of Wausau; 4 grandchildren, Jason (Becky), Justin, Jordan, and Catie Campbell; and a great-grandson Ethan Campbell. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Elder Don Mathie officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Elton Cemetery on a later date.
