Lyda Mae Davis

Lyda Mae Davis, age 89, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 while at her residence surrounded by family.

Lyda Mae was born on October 26, 1935 in White Lake to the late Robert and Ida Mae (Boyd) Messer.

She attended Wilson Grade School. In 1957 Lyda Mae was united in marriage to Raymond Davis at Four Corners Assembly of God Church in White Lake. Ray preceded her in death on May 20, 2010.

Lyda Mae was a homemaker. She also worked cooking in various restaurants, helping at local potato farms, assisting her son with professional cleaning and worked at Amron Corporation for 23 years.

She enjoyed creating homemade greeting cards for family and friends. She was a woman of strong faith and liked to watch Jimmy Swaggart and Joel Olsteens. Of all her great enjoyments, her love of the Lord and her family were her greatest.

Survivors include her children: Randy (Barb) Davis of Hortonville, Cindy (Terry) Duncan of Mercer, Donny, Vince, Vanessa (Dave) Randl all of Antigo, Darwin Davis of Oshkosh, Dawn (Dave) Dieck of Birnamwood, 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lyda Mae was preceded in death by a grandson Joseph, a great grandson Devin, brothers: Arlie, Cletus, Clifford, Chester, Paul, Jess, Curtis, James Rufus, Virgil, Estel, a sister Esther and 2 infant brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at noon at Four Corners Assembly of God Church in White Lake. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the church.

Reverend Marvin Kindle will officiate. Interment will be in Langlade Cemetery.
